PROBLEM:
AVG newest update found mw.exe to be a trojan horse (virus) and put the file into its "Virus Vault" (Even though Mortware is not a virus!).

SOLUTION:
Step 1 - Remove AVG anti-virus

- Double-click on the AVG Icon down by your computer's clock. (This opens the AVG control center)
- Go to the "PROGRAM" menu
- Choose "Launch AVG Virus Vault"
- Then look for a row with 'c:\mw2000\mw.exe'
- Right-click on the row, choose "Restore File(s)"
- Close virus vault, Close AVG center
- Open START menu
- Go to Control panel
- Go to "Add or Remove programs"
- Find "AVG" in the list of programs
- Click AVG
- Click Change/REMOVE.
- Once it asks, just click "YES" to uninstall the program.
- Once uninstalled, you can UNCHECK the option to restart the computer.
- Click finish for the uninstall.

STEP 2 - Re-establish the link to mortware

- Right-Click on your Mortware icon on the desktop
- Choose Properties
- Where you see "TARGET" make sure the following is typed in: "C:\mw2000\mw.exe" (Correct it if necessary)
- Where you see "START IN" make sure the following is typed in: "C:\mw2000" (Correct it if necessary)
- Click "OK"
- If you get a message saying that there is still a problem with the shortcut, verify you typed in the "target" and "start in" properly.
- If you continue to get a message, click here for further instructions.
- If you do not get an error message, proceed by opening your mortware icon, and verifying that the program is now working.

STEP 3 - Install a different virus protection software. (Optional)

- We recommend that you download a program called "AVAST", which is another free virus protection software program.
- Just click "Download Now" and choose RUN on the following link's website:
